Synopsis
As a hazy sunset dips over the horizon, so too does an unfamiliar sense of calm settle in. After having been assailed by night terrors one after another, the denizens of this humble village take a rare chance to rebuild.
Just as the town's leadership lie their heads down to rest, a howl rips through the air; a now-familiar signal of the hours to come. The all-enveloping forest begins to feel like a beast itself, ready to consume everything within in a single bite. Any brave or foolish enough to gaze into the dark beyond call out eyes staring back at them; they are met not with rolled eyes and accusations of lunacy, but with a somber understanding. Ravenswood Bluff is not new to such things.
The celestial bodies have frozen in the sky, perhaps out of a desire to witness this... Bizarre Twilight.
Gameplay
Bizarre Twilight is a script of pairs, where alignment is a temporary nuisance and abilities on both sides affect multiple players at once. Every Demon on the script can kill twice per night, but each is under a unique restriction. Determining why kills happened and why they were prevented will be key to determining what - and who - you're up against.
Expert. Recommended for players who are prepared to hedge their bets regardless of which token they draw and play for their own win condition.
When playing Bizarre Twilight...
Good players will need to take risks and be aggressive with their executions. The Ferryman allows dead players to influence town's executions during the whole of the game, and with the possibility of being overwhelmed by evil's numbers it's likely that they'll need to.
...another paragraph!
Evil players will need to discern where good characters are seated and use their Minion abilities in order to allow their Demon to cause maximum impact. Several characters can be brought over to the Evil team, and locating and turning them is paramount to Evil's victory.
